Former Branch Chairman, Eddie Mansfield sadly passed away in his sleep during the evening of 6th February 2025 following a short illness.
He will be remembered as always being involved with the Branch, especially as the branch standard bearer where he attended events throughout the Borough of Telford and Wrekin, and further afield at the Birmingham Military Tattoo.Â
Eddie would often volunteer to parade the standard at local funerals of former RAF personnel.
Eddie also gave up his own time to help with local Air Cadet Squadrons, as well as the Sea Cadet Corps in Telford.
